We at Donatello Doors are specialists at making wrought iron and steel entry doors. Of all the different types of doors and windows available, we believe that wrought iron entry doors are simply the best.  However, there are two other types of entry doors you should know about:

Fiberglass Entry Doors:

Fiberglass entry doors and are made from a petroleum based resin that requires harsh solvents and chemicals to be used in manufacture. Some say that fiberglass entry doors can be made to look like wood, but fake wood does not exactly shout quality. Fiberglass entry doors are also not fireproof because the resins used are highly flammable.

Wood Entry Doors:

While some wood doors may be less expensive than steel entry doors, the really good ones are not. Wooden doors definitely have their own appeal, but a wooden entry door will never be as durable as steel. They also dent easily, are subject to rot, require regular repainting and maintenance and of course - they are not fireproof.
